List Of Actors Who Might Become Next James Bond – Odd Addition

When Daniel Craig was asked to pick James Bond from where Pierce Brosnan left, he was not highly pleased. In 2006, Daniel became the new 007 and closed the mouths of his critics imminently. Last year he completed his final movie for the franchise. There are potentially a few capable actors who are expected to keep the tradition going.

I mean back in 2006, no one would’ve thought that Daniel Craig would last more than 5 years. However, he thought otherwise. He was convinced that he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of such big actors who have played the role of James Bond.

Nonetheless, here is a list of actors who can and are expected take the mantle of Agent 007.

Idris Elba

Idris Elba has always been a common name whenever it came down to the topic of “The Next James Bond”. The 49 year old was also once related to the phrase “part of the conversation” by producer Broccoli.

Tom Hardy

A brilliant actor who can easily dwell into any given character. Tom Hardy is a strong contender to become the next James Bond. He’s been the favourite to replace Daniel Craig since 2020. However, he chooses not to speak about the possibility publicly as he once said to the British media, “If I mention it, it’s gone,”.

Richard Madden

Richard becoming the next James Bond is also quite highly anticipated. He has already proved himself as an excellent actor through his portrayals in Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, etc. Although its rather debatable among some fans that he should steady the mantle up next.

Robert Pattinson

This man has become the talk of the town since his roles in Tenet and The Batman respectively. Cause those are the only new movies of him that featured him wearing luxurious suits. Although in Tenet, he took it to the next level with his simple yet elegant and classy dressing. His portrayal in Batman instantly made his fans love him again for one more reason. He is a very strong contender for taking on James Bond after Daniel Craig. Even Danny Boyle praised him and said he “would make a great Bond”.

Henry Cavill

Henry is a sort of actor who is not afraid of challenges. He already portrayed himself flawlessly as Superman. He has a nice built for a spy as well. Henry looked absolutely perfect in his movie ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E’ where he displayed his best spy abilities. He’s no stranger to how spy movies and acting works as he was also a part of a Mission Impossible movie. He also might probably be the strongest contender to take on James Bond among some of the names mentioned in this list. And he’s personally my favourite one too!

Harry Styles

Harry’s inclusion might feel a bit strange and unorthodox as this point but he has a lot to offer. Given that he has little to almost none acting experience as he has only appeared in 2-3 movies as of yet. Yet he is all in for becoming the next 007 agent. He himself cherishes James Bond as well. To be fair, he’s also quite young. He wouldn’t give that mature look the Bond’s have always had.

Henry Golding

Henry impressed the world with his impeccable acting skills in ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ but it was a Rom-Com. How well could he do in a strict serious and classy role? Well his ‘Snake Eyes’ might do the talking for his action and fighting skills.

Regé-Jean Page

He came to light with his performance in Bridgterton so he also might not be a stranger to how to carry a suit and act classy. He could be another dazzling addition to the next James Bond list to be fair.

Lashana Lynch

Lashana was suspended as the new James Bond for quite some while due to certain events occurring in the James Bond movie ‘No Time To Die’. She became the first ever woman to play agent 007 in the movie, in the entire history of the franchise. However, she politely gives back the amenable mantle of being agent 007. It would be a blistering breakthrough for female British actors if the franchise starts acquiring more women in serious roles such as being an all out agent.
