Lionsgate Reveal John Wick 4’s First Official Image

Keanu Reeves reprises his role in John Wick 4 as the new poster suggests. The image just dropped by today and it features him in a holy church-like surrounding.

Welcome Back, Mr. Wick

Since Keanu’s last on-screen experience, (3 years ago) this is will mark his return back to the big screen. Story, plot and full cast is still unidentifiable but one thing’s for sure that worlds favourite assassin is marching back. Although we can expect it to be in accordance to the last part, John Wick: Parabellum. That evidently showcased that John Wick was shot by Winston on the balcony of the Continental, trying to prove something to the High Table. Then we saw John turning to Bowery King – who has severe grudges against the High Table.

Potential Cast

Nothing officially has been announced regarding the full cast but we can reflect upon a few names present in the film, as of current. Keanu Reeves, of course, will be displaying John Wick again. His fellow companions include Ian McShane (Winston), Laurence Fishburne (Bowery King) and Lance Reddick (Charon). These were there throughout John’s journey, however, there are a few new stars as well. Donnie Yen. Bill Skarsgård. Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Scott Adkins and Hiroyuki Sanada are also expected to be present in the film.

During today’s San Diego ComicCon, Lionsgate revealed the first image/poster of the all new upcoming John Wick 4. The image shows John Wick sitting in deep observation in a sacred and holy environment. It can be realised after seeing the image that John feels tormented by the road that he is about go down. As he has no other option left. Although the image seemingly doesn’t reveal enough about the plot but it can be contemplated that John is about to go through the hardest of battles yet again.

John Wick 5?

One exciting factor that comes along this image is that after the gap years, Keanu is all set to shoot both John Wick 4 and John Wick 5 for Lionsgate. It means for the next 2-3 years, we are going to enjoy Keanu elevating John Wick’s heroics.

Now that the first piece of information has been revealed by Lionsgate, they might even drop the trailer for the movie during the San Diego ComicCon. Even Paramount+ took the liberty to introduce Teen Wolf: The Movie’s trailer today.  Although there might be an exception to keep extra hopes. Cause the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2023 and revealing the trailer at such an early stage might take the hype out of it. Moreover, they might even pull the release date of the movie at an earlier date. All depends on Lionsgate’s crew and officials.
