Huawei Watch Fit 2 Full Review

Huawei Watch Fit 2 was launched in early may 2022. The launching event was highly unanticipated. It took place in Milan. A colossal event that included the introduction of many other devices as well. Although the question remains, is Huawei’s Watch Fit 2 up to any good?

Smartwatches these days have excelled in their existing operations. 5 years back we wouldn’t have even guessed how the future of smartwatches could look like. Since then, a series of different modes, features, styles and applications have been proposed. Huawei Watch Fit 2 is one to talk as well.

Design And Display

Huawei’s Watch Fit 2 is relatively quite thin in size. It takes more of a strict rectangular shape. There’s a single button at the side to operate the watch without having to use the touchscreen. Although unlike the others, scrolling through the button was not fancied by the makers of this watch. If you ever require the need to scroll down something, you’re gonna have to do it through the screen. The watch weighs around 30 grams without any band attached. That makes it impressively light as well. Users at times don’t even realise they’re wearing it.

At the back of the watch you will see a health sensor alongside pins for charging. Huawei received immense backlash for not designing a smartwatch that supports wireless charging. The cable-free world is a peaceful one for sure.

Battery Life

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 supports an incredibly grand battery life. You can enjoy a fully charged Fit 2 watch for up till 10 days. Well if you toggle off some always running sensors. Otherwise a maximum of 8 days are guaranteed. It has a 292 mAh battery installed that makes this all possible. However the always-on-display (AOD) design might conjure up a minimal battery life. Turning it off when you’re wearing the watch at home is highly advised. And that goes for every AOD watch. However, a stunning watch face might keep you from doing that. As mentioned before, it comes with a cable charger that has a USB port connecting to the adopter. It could take you around and hour and a half to fully charge your Huawei Watch Fit 2 from 1% battery.

Whether You Should Purchase It Or Not?

Well we’ve laid down a thorough narrative for you to decide that but I’d like to add my own opinion. The Watch Fit 2 offers a unique display that’s so light that you can barely feel the watch on your wrist. Its simple in the features department as well. Such stylish smartwatch can help you a lot if you want to look good in the society alongside keeping some track of your health. The variety of straps included is also an advantage. They are quite easy to attach and take off as well. Fitness freaks can also enjoy the Watch Fit 2. It has a decent GPS as well.

The watch is currently priced at around $150. However, the price tag could exceed beyond depending on the choice of strap. When you’re getting a fairly decent watch at a price like that, I think you should go for it. Huawei also keeps adding promotional discounts at their stores as well so you can expect the price to go further lower as well.
